Cindy Gagnon began teaching classes at Bridgewater when our doors first opened in 1999. She has over 15 years of group teaching experience and is currently instructing Yoga at the BAC. In the past she has tought Tai Chi; step aerobics; spinning; hi-low; and body sculpt classes. Cindy is a Registered Practical Nurse. In additon, she is a certified fitness instructor through both the Ontario Fitness Council and the YMCA.

- Making her students feel welcome as soon as they enter the fitness studio.
- Finding acceptance for the person they are.
- Being motivated to return to class.
- Being successful during the class.
- Feeling respected.
- Finding humour with each other and the instructor during the class.
- Being part of a "fitness family".
- Maintaining physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Challenging themselves especially during difficult yoga poses.
- Developing an appreciation for the fact that being physically active makes their daily living activities easier.
- Live life to the fullest and to constantly renew and restore their body, soul, and spirit
In addition to Cindy's many and varied accomplishments, she's also the Practical Evaluator in the Niagara region for NRG2GO, a fitness oriented travel agency. She's taught many of her disciplines at contracted resorts throughout the Caribbean for NRG2GO.
